Dr. Brandão is a pediatrician specializing in children and adolescents with Down syndrome. She is a physician at the Pediatric Specialty Center of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, President of the Center for Studies on Children and Adolescents with Disabilities of the Pediatric Society of São Paulo, and Member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the Brazilian Federation of Down Syndrome Associations. Her research interests include cognitive improvement and co-occurring health conditions in the population with Down syndrome.
