Dr. Pierre-Yves Maillard is a geneticist working at the Jérôme Lejeune Institute in Paris, as part of a multidisciplinary team of around fifteen doctors, paramedical professionals and a clinical research team, to care for and support thousands of patients every year with genetic intellectual disabilities, the majority of whom are Trisomy 21 patients.
