The Trisomy 21 Research Society was founded to promote fundamental and translational research on Down syndrome, stimulate interdisciplinary investigation, and apply new scientific knowledge to improve the quality of life for people with Down Syndrome.




Research on Down syndrome is the only way to improve our knowledge on the develop mental and homeostatic processes that are different in this population. Such abetter understanding is the basis for the design of novel therapies and better management for conditions frequently associated with Trisomy 21.
